Help!..trying to remove door panels to install speakers
I'm trying to remove the door panels so i can install rear the speakers..
I've removed the screw from the door handle, and tried to remove the plastic on the side arm rest, ive tried to push in the tabs but they dont seem to move..
how and which direction do i need to pull? ...i'm a bit scared of breaking something. or anyone got any pics on how this is done?

those tabs are only there to hold it in place, they are not button tabs. Just pull down very lightly on the arm rest piece and pull the piece forward, those tabs on the bottom don't move.
I used a flat-head screwdriver (w/ a shop towel to avoid scratching trim) to push in the three clips. I then used a trim/clip remover (from AutoZone or Checker Auto, I forget which...plus the shop towel)...

...then slowly pryed under the arm-rest cover (from front-to-rear). The arm-rest cover eventually pops off.
I also used the clip/trim remover to pop out the 7 clips that surround the outter-edge of the door panel.
If u haven't checked it out yet, this link has step-by-step instructions to remove the door panels [ Front Door Panel Removal/Installation ].

Great! Just as a side note: While sound deadening the front door....I accidently broke the metal clip clean off the Fit's OEM speaker when I brutishly removed it from the front door. I wish I saw this diagram before I started.
The pic is from http://www.hondafitjazz.com/front_door.htm

ps: The OEM speaker w/ the broken metal clip went back in just fine. The door panel trim & speaker tabs at the bottom keep it securely/snuggly in place. I plan to replace the front components anyways...Gw, eventually.
