Mid-bass ????

Sup to all.....i have my stock speakers replaced with some low end 6.5" kenwoods and a 10" soundstream sub....so i have all the bass i need in those terms but the 6.5" kenwoods have no mid bass what so ever....would i be better off getting a decent componet set up front or just better co axials all around ?????

Thanx to all in advance

Phoenix

Mid-bass? You mean the midrange? You might do better with some higher quality 6.5"s. I'm no sound guy, but that's my suggestion.

Yes, better components would help with the mid-bass. the PG RSD 6.5's seem to be really popular for the midbass and being cheap.

Sound deadening, like Dynamat / Bostik would go a long way to improving mid bass and punch. It makes mediocre speakers sound above-average, and great speakers sound stellar.

deaden first... deadening would improve midbass the best. I would go with raam mat.. raamaudio.com rick is a good guy and he'll take care of ya

install will make mediocre products sound better, but a poor install will make even the best product sound like ass
