After install, big gap between faceplate and dash

Good point! I wonder if this issue has been resolved? If so, what was the fix?

I already posted the fixes... but I'm sure this is already resolved as the person never came back with updates.

Yeah, I'm aware of your posted fixes. I meant was was his fix... I wish people would follow-up after asking for help. What good does it do to just disappear. We are supposed to be helping as well as learning from each other.

but that's the thing, nothing new was learned, his lack of searching would have solved his probs, and this thread is now offtopic... and why am I still getting emails about it, I unsubscribed from it....

Ok, for my problem I decided to live with it for now. The control knobs are mounted tightly and it's not loose enough that it rattles so I'll live with the gap unless I get more ambitious some day. Thanks for all your comments.

Too bad. There's no way I could live with that gap. It would be driving me crazy. To each his own though...

i have the metra but it's pretty garbagy... if that's a word.

i'd pay 5x the price to get a nicer looking one.
