That blue one is exactly what I want!!! So if we both have white LEDs then the blue must be coming from the plastic dial cover right? So all I would need to do is get hold of a different dial cover for mine and hey presto!!!
This is my standard 2002 UK panel (all the silver trim is missing at the mo)
Personally, I much prefer the blue!

this looks like its from amber leds- rather than white (IMO)

but-- if it is infact still white then yes a gauge face with the correct color filters will work
HOWEVER> we dumbasses over here in the US have easier to understand icons and warning lights
so... they might be in a different spot or yadda yadda

the gas gauge is at a different position

any new mods to comeout are going to have to be self made since the new fit came out the gd's market is basically dead

Thats for the info. Im just gonna have to take the rest apart and have a look. Anyone got any tips for the best way to remove the needles?

i wouldnt mess with them but....
they have to come off somehow right?

yeah i second that. If anyone in the UK has an old cluster I can take care of the exploratory surgery from this side of the pond....for the good of the common knowledge.

i just went to honda. i talked to a tech and he said that the needles are wrapped with a coil to calibrate them. so its impossible to take off the needles without ruining the whole cluster.

i have the whole gauge cluster, i just have to figure out how to rewire the harness so it works. ben from aj racing is helping me out with it.
