Exclamation 09 double din avic f90bt

been reading some of these threads and still got questions. bought an 09 fit sport no nav, got the 09 fit navi center piece from honda for $35 and i got a pioneer avic f90bt nib from a friend for $400, does this setup work or is there anything i need to know? seems to be a hot topic but i havent seen any pictures or heard any success stories. another question is has anyone hooked up the stereo steering wheel controls (from a car that doesnt have them from the factory) on an aftermarket head unit? any feedback would be much appreciated. im a newbie so hopefully i dont come off so naive

sounds like you are well on your way to be one of the first. when you find something that will support your double din head unit behind the piece you bought from honda, i want to be the first to know. I plan on going aftermarket head unit navi/dvd

Same here. I think you need the OEM Navi mounting brackets that hold the unit in place and a wiring harness from Metra or Schosche (spelling?) to match your Pioneer deck to factory wiring.

can beat aftermarket taste eh, if you find the harness that works, post it up. I'm looking to make the move in the next month or two.

Exclamation I'm interested in this too!

Just got the '09 Sport without NAVI.

I want to get a double-din unit. Everyone says they have no info or kits for it yet.

Keep updating this thread.

Metra 99-7877 or Scosche HA1708B but it doesn't look like either one is being manufactured yet.

have anyone look into using the honda oem mounting bracket that was used in 2009 nav version?

part # is 77255-TF0-000 from bernardi parts.

Hmm, I might give that a try. Cheap enough that if it doesn't work, no loss.
