cant anyone with a wiring diagram help a brother out?

08 base/man

someone must have a wiring diagram that shows the keyless entry connecting to the 40 pin guage cluster... I dont need you to scan anything, just tell me which wire coming from the keyless entry signals the guage cluster to trigger the master unlock signal that goes out on pin 9 (or 10, I forget).

anyone?

thank you very much, I havent had much luck finding an answer (see my post down forum about keyless entry diagram)

I think that the gauge cluster is kind of the brain for a lot of stuff.

I think that the keyless entry module and the drivers door master "door-lock/unlock" switch both feed into the cluster and the cluster then sends the lock / unlock signals out on pins 9 and 10. I am trying to capture the "unlock" signal output from the keyless entry module.

any help is appreciated.

okay so this is what the manual says about it. first off, there is no master unlock because of the way the keyless entry works. there is a primary and secondary function of one button so there are two connections for unlocking. one connection for locking.

C40 Light green/red- momentarily connect C40 terminal to A1 terminal with a jumper wire. all doors should lock

B3 yellow/green- momentarily connect B3 terminal to A1 terminal with a jumper wire. drivers door should unlock

C20 green- momentarily connect C20 terminal to A1 terminal with a jumper wire. passenger doors and tailgate should unlock.

hope this helps.

ok, makes sense, one click of the unlock button on the fob , unlocks drivers door, second click within 30 seconds unlocks the rest.

single click of the fob "lock" locks all doors, second click does the same thing but also sounds horn.

thank you.
the wire colors you mentioned, those are the colors from the keyless entry module to the guage cluster right?

and A1 terminal is ground?
and the drivers door "master lock" switch must connect to a different pin on th e40 pin connector?

Thanks,
It appears that the cavity 2-Blu/Orn wire feeding to the cluster into C17 may be the wire in question, at least a place for me to start testing.

This leaves me unsure of the three wires mentioned in the previous response:
C40 lt Grn/red
B3 yell/grn,
C20 grn
however I might be able to muddle through with the info I have.

I will post (for the sake of the archives) my results
