importing one?

I guess you could import one from Europe as their cars are LHD. UK/JAP and I think Aus are all RHDs.

You'll need the trim offered on the NAV equipped LHD models. Do all the newer Fit/Jazz have the AC & defroster button on the same side, and an indicator light for the passenger air bag on the other?

I'm looking for it too

I want to install the GPS in my car, but the audio system that set up in US cannot do it. I know Asia Jazz the audio system can be change, becasue it is a double din style. I want to get that double din cover to fit the aftermarket GPS system for my Fit.

If any one know reply this post. Plz!!!

The Mexican Fit has the Single Din Radio and Pocket underneath. If you look at the exploded diagram though of that dash piece you need to order more than the trim piece. You need the skeleton, the trim piece, four brackets and 4 clips.

You also need to move over all the dials, lights, vents, cable controls, etc...

damn

so In North American, we have no chance to mod the audio headunit. Is it possible to remove the cover the the Factory audio system and install the Nav. Because North American we have the same aircondition control just the audio system headunit is different.

I dont think it will be long before some sort of dash kit comes out. There are other cars with more complicated dashes that have kits.

Just look at some of the fords and youll see that it shouldnt be that hard. I think it will be a little more expensive then any old accord kit.

I would like a stock honda piece if one exists. The aftermaket ones always look a little off in my opinion.

Fit Is Go do you have any pics or info on how to get a hold of the parts from Mexico?

It is available. I got mine from a Honda dealer here in Manchester.

Just go to your local honda and ask for the Parts Brochure, they'll give you a brochure with all the part numbers and parts available for Jazz.

It should be something like "Audio Face Panel"

Crutchfield now has the Honda Fit on the website but with this bummer...

Installation Details for your 2007 Fit Sport
» Caution! You will need to modify your vehicle to install this product. We strongly recommend contacting a Crutchfield Sales Advisor to discuss your installation and your options. Modifications may include cutting wires, plastic, or metal, and may include fabricating brackets, panels, or other parts, and the installation instructions or guides we may be including do not cover these modifications. Once your vehicle has been modified, it may not be possible to return it to the factory specs or appearance.
» You will need to fabricate a mounting kit in order to install your new receiver.
» A wiring harness is not available. You will need to splice into the factory wires.
» If the factory radio is replaced, the factory AUX input connection will be lost.
» You'll get free lifetime tech support for as long as you own your gear!

Jazz panel fascia is available in the UK from Honda delaer. I think it is around £65. I got one already installed in my Sport (taking my blaupunkt 7" DVD Touch screen and seperate 5cd din changer). Depending whether you have manual or Electronic climate control, it comes with new stickers for the heating/fan turn controls too. And most importantly, a aerial adapter to convert the factory aerial plug to a normal ISO aerial plug.
And new double din brackets. All in all, it seems a lot at £65 but you do get a lot of parts with it.

Al.

Since I live about 5 minutes from Mexico, I think we're going to find out about the parts tomorrow.
