Iphone/Itouch Mount

So I did some searching before I posted this and came up with this as my "best choice" so far:

Bracketron : Mobile Dock-iT Universal Cup Holder Mount Kit

But that was posted a little over a year ago and I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a better solution for holding their Iphone... Mostly because I'll be using it as my GPS and running the USB cable to it for power and for music. So I want to have the least "cable dangling" setup I can manage.

Any advice would be awesome, thanks.

I'll do some looking around, there might be a good post in the General Discussion forum that shows some really good options. Theres a company that was linked in the thread and they had some great options. They had a bracket that was very clean looking and actually mounted to the A pillar on the left side. I'll see if I can find it.

Found the website, not the thread. http://www.proclipusa.com/

The one that clips onto the A pillar is what I would get if I used the iPhone. Get the one that swivels and has the cigarette lighter. Around $100 for the mount and the holder, but it looks clean and worth the money, in my opinion.

Get a dash mount, the cup holder mounts are never really convenient. You'll crash into something trying to look down there. I believe a company called "ProClip" or something like that makes a mount that goes in front of the little triangle window up front, within easy reach of the wheel. Just don't use that with the window down in bad weather or it could get wet.

tomtom car kit in '08 fit

Here's a couple of photos of the TomTom iphone car kit in my '08 Fit. Love it. Got it from Bottom Line Telecommunications for $90 shipped. You can use any nav app, but I use TomTom, and it's as good a car nav experience as I've ever had, plus you have the whole iPhone experience right there (and putting music and podcasts out through the Fit's speakers.)
