Love that navigation. Came from 5510 going to 726E and i demo'd the 726. AMAZING improvement!

 

how is the quality on the new Eclipse units? i heard they had sort of gone downhill after going into mass production for Circuit City.

 

If anything, they've gone up. The screen quality is now on par with many other manufacturers. The interface is also now very responsive and fairly intelligent. This is honestly can compete with the DNX series from Kenwood give or take a few features the Eclipse lacks ie. voice command.

 

You could say they did a reboot for 2009. No more mass merchants.
They probably have a few features missing if your picky, but shear performance and speed are great! Product works great. I have it in three vehicles, two are 726E's one is the AVN4430.
