it sticks out completely incase anyone was wondering. it sits on top of the actually steering wheel airbag and not on the inside recess at all. looks pretty good on the GD tho, i dont know how well it would look on the GE tho as the airbag is more curved shaped.

but the GE owners dont need to worry since i have my emblem coming out =P, good option for GD until i can make theres

Bump for this question as I would like to know as well if you had to pry the original off. Props though it looks great, and I'm really considering ordering one now.

Nope it just goes right over the original "H". I actually took my rear ep3 badge off my steering wheel and am willing to sell it. Just send me a PM whomever is interested in this.

Yea it fits right over top stock emblem. Clean wheel with rubbing alcohol to remove armour all, cut tabs off back of jdm emblem, center up and stick. Try not to blow horn too much, people look at you like your nuts. Looks great on the wheel, especially for jdm nuts like me.

yep the emblem just goes right over the stock emblem. the stock emblem will never come off until you break it off. plus when you keep it on it will have more contact surface for the emblem to stick to the wheel. im glad that this mod has done a lot of people well. i was just as excited when i found it out awhile ago.

do you think that in the hotter climates that the adhesive will melt, causing the emblem to fall off

i think its just a little bit smaller but the emblem i got is the smallest "real" emblem you can get so it will look good.
