Install question for JL Stealthbox owners regarding spare access
I just picked up the JL Stealthbox today and assumed that it would be just like JL's website said... not affecting access to the spare tire.
Anyway, I went ahead and jammed it into place as a test, and I noticed that while the fit is great, I can't access the spare since it is blocked by the enclosure.
How did you solve this problem? Cut the spare tire access door? This is what I was hoping to avoid

I think you are the only one on here using the JL box. I looked into getting it but decided I'll just use the spare well for a box and build my own. Too bad you aren't closer I'd like to see one in person.

I just got the car back from the shop yesterday (couldn't afford the time to do it myself). I'll post pics of the setup later. It sounds really nice!
Also, the spare is blocked, as is the cargo cover. Despite the fact that the Stealthbox has a channel for the cargo cover mount, it doesn't fit anymore. I'll be modding my cargo cover to make it work
I'll probably create some sort of hinge for the spare tire door as well.
