Thumbs up Sub'n Out the Fit

Here's some pix of the install so far still waiting on a few peices parts to come in.
So far the amp is mounted with a 1farad cap. and 12" sub in a 15x15x11" box non ported with 1" poly insulation,
top bottom and side reinforced,10 ga spkr. wire, the middle pic is the trigger to turn the amp on and off
so the OEM unit can be used with or without the amp. and the 3rd pic is just rice

Good luck with it. RF makes good stuff. I used a set of RF Punch HX2's in my accord for years, and abused them!! As far as I know they are still playing.

Ditch that sub, amp and cap. Money can be better spent else where, and I don't even know which models you have selected but punch series is crap imo. Rockford is a great brand, I have a T1000-1bd and 2 T115d4's, but I'd never consider rocking something they sell through best buy.

I'm not looking for the car to fall apart from the sound but thanks anyway.
IMO ditch that element and buy a Fit Kid.

As a person that sold RF for years, and a stereo guy at heart, some people don't care about spending money elsewhere. If the guy is happy with what he has bought don't shoot him down for it. Just because he isn't using T1's dosen't mean it's crap. When BB originally got the line the equipment was the exact same. The only difference were the model numbers (100a2 for specialty and 100aII for BB) and they couldn't get power series stuff.

Wink The almost End

The sound is terrific and the thump'n is cool too.
I didn't hookup the cap. yet to hear what it sounds like without it and to see how the voltage reacts
(I have a meter in the dash) .2v up from where it usally is. Will hookup the cap. next week.
Hey Vinny took her for a ride down Altlantic Ave. at the beach (Va. Beach) and loved every second of it thump'n and bump'n
