Sherwood Trim Kit, anyone have any experience?

Interior Dash Trim Kits for Honda Fit Autos For Dash Kits for Honda Fit Autos Year(s) 2009-up Models

Has anyone seen these in person? I'm calling them tomorrow to see if they'll send me some samples, but I'm curious if anyone knows anything about this trim kit.

I have a couple of samples being sent. I'm hoping someone here has tried a Sherwood kit or at least seen a car trimmed out with them and can give me their opinion.

The price is just high enough that I'm pretty hesitant to just buy a kit and say "oh well" and throw it away if it doesn't please me.

That's a Sherwood kit. Without a doubt, they look great in pictures. I'm just wondering how they look in person. I don't want to spend that kind of money for something that looks like you just put a big sticker on your dash....

How old are you? 70? lol
Those wood trim pieces are so ugly... stay away and put your money somewhere else IMO.

oh snap >.<
sorry Black3sr, hope my comment didn't offended you hehe...

Well, if you package your interior design properly, the wood trim could be alright i guess. but definitely NOT light brown. Perhaps a darker brown with a little shade of red-ish brown would compliment the black interior nicely.

Light brown makes it look old and not stylish. Darker brown, or red brown makes it more luxury, a bit like those high end Audi/Lexus.

Something like this

Yes it did.

Well I did not want it to look like an Audi/Lexus. I wanted it to look like an econobox that it is. An upscale one though. With my Clazzios it looks good.

These are the patterns I'm personally interested in. The carbon fiber and the red burl (lower right) are real cf and wood. The other two are prints, but I think they all might look nice in the Fit interior.

My concern isn't so much whether it will look nice (as that's a matter of personal opinion), it's more the quality that I'm wondering about. Will it look *cheap*? And Black3sr, thank you for replying. You're obviously happy with it and that gives me some confidence towards ordering this trim.

Photos of Dash & Door Trim?

I am considering carbon fiber dash/door trim --anyone done this-- Not sure I would trim the radio though--a bit too much for my taste, but I would like to add some color to some of the black & silver plastic areas.

I have yellow/black carbon in mine from edashkit. I think for the style car we have aluminum and carbon is better than wood. My humble opinion of course.

I ended up getting the Ash Burl (lower left in the 4 samples above), and I've just been waiting for warmer weather to install it. I did take it out the other day and test fit a few pieces and I can tell you that it looks absolutely perfect in our interior. I cannot wait to get it installed and get some pics up here on FF.
