Honda (all) M10x1.5 for measurements can anybody tell me if this is correct for the Fit also, and can you explain what that M10x1.5 means?

M10 means the thickness and 1.5 means the thread size.

M means it's a metric thread; 10 means that the outer diameter (i.e. across the peaks not the valleys) is 10mm; 1.5 means that the distance from peak to peak is 1.5mm.

From what I understand, all Hondas have the same shift knob measurements, thread pitch and width...

As for the Cusco ones you posted in your link, the three there will NOT fit. The diameter has to be M10 and a thread pitch of 1.5, which neither of those knobs have combined. They also list what they fit onto, Honda isn't one of them.

shift knob

ok so when you look on ebay and they say the shift knob they are selling has 8,10, and 12 mm adapters, that means the 10mm is for the fit. right? so whatever shift knob i find is m10x1.5 then it will fit a fit?
