Cool coin holder on ebay
I just bought a cool little coin holder off ebay. I think they still have a few...

If you would, report back as to how well the coins stay in there. I've heard they like to jump out during hard acceleration or cornering. My fiancee's corolla has a coin holder that keeps the coins in well, but I think it's got a deeper lip than the Fit one. She still doesn't use it anyway, because she says that in the part of Cincinnati where she works, someone would break the window just to steal whatever change was in the coin holder.
I installed the coin holder yesterday, it holds 4 quarters on each side very securely. If you have just a couple coins in the holder, they will jiggle a little around corners but not fall out. FYI install was very easy, remove the fuse access panel, reach up and push out the blank, then insert the coin holder and replace the access panel.

Sorry, but I have no such coinage. It appears that a US quarter is the largest coin it holds. But the unit pulls apart to reveal a not-so-secret storage compartment for other stuff like paper clips, used chewing gum and navel lint. You can store the giant coins in there although retrieving them with one hand would be a bit of a trick.
Myke...I don't have my fit yet, so I can't go outside and tell you--but looking at the pictures of the interior I could find, the size of the blank slot looks similar. We need to get someone to confirm this. I had this coin holder on my EP and it proved very useful.
Or Myke...maybe you could pop out and measure a blank and we could check that against a GD blank?
