I don't know when/if I make another crutchfield order though... maybe give the forum a few more hours to see if anyone else has a code (and if they're more likely to order something).

It is pretty good in one sense... you can put your car info and it usually can tell if something will fit. Then, if you buy a head unit or speakers, it comes with some freebies (the HU and speakers might be a little overpriced to begin with though).
Freebies can include the trim kit (in our case), antenna adapter, wire harness, etc.
But like I said, it can be a little overpriced. The first time I ordered an HU was from them. The second time was from Amazon... and to be honest, the Amazon order, while being cheaper, didn't make me happy (the packaging was piss poor), because it came from a 3rd party vendor. The price difference on the first was minimal (maybe $10-$15 for Alpine ida-x305), but the second was nearly $200 (Kenwood DNX9980HD).
But when it comes to HU and speakers (I don't do subs/amps/kickers)... I would definitely look to Crutchfield first, especially since I don't plan on buying another $1k+ HU. =.='
