What fits in a FIT?

if you need to bring home a new front spoiler, at least it fits. all 77 inches of it, with room to spare.

Why do you need a new front spoiler?

honda part # 71110-SLN-A90ZD, storm silver lower spoiler trim.
I have painted some, but i dont have the spray booth to do acceptable job. besides here in CA, its not easy to get easy to spray polymers, so by the time i buy the paint, thinner, and all the other chemicals to clean it, and up afterwards, you start to pay for the part, thats knowing I have a compressor and guns to shoot it.
suggested list is $267.42.

college hills honda, $208.82, but then thats with shipping I presume?
i paid dealer net $160.63

I put 8 pieces of 8 foot long kick-board moulding (the stuff that is nailed to the bottom of walls at the edge of a house floor) but it was a very tight fit. Right front seat back reclined all the way back down. both back seats flat. I had to use the cross-bar of my hatch cover to lift the pieces up enough to fit when the hatch was closed, otherwise the hatch door would not shut. I had to pad the glove-box cover to prevent scuffing. I did not try putting the boards up in the windshield area - maybe I could have gotten something longer in doing that...

Sorry to see your spoiler in that shape, i have had to watch that myself a few times having a Tundra before the Fit. Luckily my wife's car has a low spoiler in the front also, so we are both always aware of it.

Speaking of fitting in the Fit, we moved not to long ago and it was raining, and fit a whole twin bed inside the fit with the hatch closed. Not saying it was the safest drive i've ever had considering the blind spots. I shoulda took pics, I was pretty impressed.

I was thiiiiiissss close to getting an entire futon in my Fit, I had to back down because I was scuffing the plastic, it was almost like I couldn't believe it wouldn't fit, like it will hold anything.

Lets see, I have fit in the Fit the following:

- All the camping gear that used to take the back seat, trunk and roof-top carrier in the old Civic
- An 8ft 4x4 fence post
- An entire BBQ on it's side
- A bunch of recylcling that might have taken 2 trips in the Civic
- A wicker rocking-chair that *JUST* barely fit through the hatch
- I think I could fit in the two aluminum storm doors in packaging that I am going to purchase, but since it might require to lean them at an odd angle and hang them out the back of the car I think I will just rent a van from the hardware store (25$, better than wrecking the new doors)

i fit a 1/2 pallet of funchop retail packs into my Fit in utility mode... im pretty sure i could have gotten the full pallet in; but i wanted to conserve my rear-view site lines and was afraid my car would drag

those suckers can get heavy, i was pretty amazed actually (had room to spare too) though the get-up and go was lacking, i hit the freeway for 30 miles and delivered the goods!

I fit a 46" LCD including the box in the 2nd row with the seats up. It barely fit. I wish I had taken a few pics.
