Rear speakers in Base

I bought a DX in Canada and it didn't come with rear speakers. Does anyone know if the wires are run? Also has anyone upgraded their rear speakers and want to sell me the ones they removed?

thanks

I'd be surprised if the wiring wasn't there.

I tore the door pannel off and found that the wires were there. I have a pair of 6" speakers but am having trouble mounting them to door. I'd sugest getting 6" speakers or smaller and be prepared to jerry-rig something to mount them in place.

Also a honda dealer quoted me >$90 / speaker and all reviews I've seen stated that they are terrible. The speakers I got are 2-way, panasonic from Future Shop for for $50/pair.

Im gonna go 6.5" in the front, and just put the stock speakers in the back, maybe rockford or pioneer.Try getting a set of speakers that come with tweeters as well.I think when i do that im gonna put sound proofing and a diffuser in as well.

I'm in the same situation and was planning to move the stock fronts to the back as well. The sport comes with front tweeters as well - where do they go? I'd like to put in a set of component speakers in the front and use the existing tweeter location - assuming that it exists in the DX. Any ideas?

I put 2 infinity 6.5's in the back,i used a 3/4 inch thick spacer i made out of MDF and they fit perfect. You can sorta see them through the door too!Im gonna wait to put the alpine 6.5's in the front untill the usdm head unit comes out, because the dx's sound system is slightly under powered for the bigger speakers.Even though the speakers are under powered the sound in the car sounds much better now.I cant wait to get the rest of the system in there. There is a thread out there somewhere where vividjazz explains how to seal the doors and he has a picture of the spacers to make. You should read it if you havent already.
