Mods on my Nighthawk Black Pearl

I received my Fit on december 22nd 2006. Right on time for christmas :P
So here are my pictures, click on any pic to see it bigger :

A few days after I bought it : OEM mags 15" with winter tires (no mods yet)

Pee-on Sticker ("Prix de l'essence" means "Gas prices")

Locking fuel cap

Honda HFP 16" rims with summer tires
Tires are 205/45R16 Toyo Proxes 4

DOT-it Lamp (LED)

Coin holder

My bike fits in the Fit!

Armrest console JDM (the sliding armrest was in backorder... still waiting for it to arrive)

Yellow foglights

Window visors

"I heart my Honda" and "The shocker" (stickers)

Body side moldings

I'll get my windows tinted in a few weeks.

What do you think?

great little progress thread you have here. Great to document the mods on pics. I like the console and wheels. How do you like the sidemoldings. Some reason I like them on the fit, I had them shaved off on my old teg, but it looks okay on fit.

I love the HFP wheels, but i'm afraid of the extra unsprung weight. Did you notice any loss of performance going with the heavier wheels?

I think it's a little less pretty with them on, but I'm sure it's worth it.
I prefer avoiding damage on the doors since it's my everyday car (and first/only car...)

Those body silde mouldings look weird. They look a little too low and doesn't seem to be level with the body lines

I know it's weird.

They are aligned (parallel) with the bottom of the car. I verified.
But all the lines on the body of the Fit are at a certain angle which make believe they are not aligned.

For example, the door handles (front/rear) are not at the same height.

About the height of moldings, I checked other photos of the Fit with them and they look the same.

About the height, it's probably the angle of the picture. I would've thought it was just a tad bit higher.

I didn't cut it.
From memory, you only have to squeeze on the tip where it's attached. It will eventually fit through the hole and "pop out" of there with a "little" force pulling on the cord.

With a flashlight, you can see better how it works to hold on there. So it helps for taking it off.

Looks good, I was also thinking of putting a DOT-IT led light near the mirror as well, but I didn't because my sub-woofer would probably make it rattle crazy (the clear lens on it is very loose)

I like everything except the pee on sticker.

No, I'm not lowered cause of the snow during winter and the bad roads we have here in Quebec.
Updates:
- I've received/installed the sliding armrest
- I've also installed a Luggage Mat from Japanparts.com
- I got my 5 back windows tinted (15%).
- I've put back my original fuel cap, because the locking one wasn't tight enough for the summer and the check engine light was always on for that reason...

- I ordered a yellow film for my fogs lights from DECALFX.com
- I ordered my I love Honda sticker from GrafiXpressions

I'm actually thinking about getting rid of all my stickers except the "I love my honda" one.

thanks for the info, looking good, maybe just go with a small drop with eibach pro springs, 1.6 and 1.3 inch drop, the roads in florida suck as well so thats what im going to use.
