FINALLY - I got my Fit fit-ted with tint.

Unfortunately, the darkest one can go in S.C. is 27% on the sides, and 20% on the rear. I was hoping for 5%. I have 20% on my Honda Civic, and was hoping that I could go really dark on my black Fit. That's alright though - I'm just glad to finally have them tinted. Just in time, too. I have to drive 450 miles tomorrow to Yorktown, VA for a week.

By the way... don't remove the window fuse - the car wont start and the door locks are inoperable. I decided to remove the fuse (being the forgetful guy I am) in case I accidentally went to roll down the windows prior to the 3-day period to allow the tint to dry. The result - the car will just crank and crank - but not fire up with the fuse removed. So, I guess I will place some masking tape over the controls.

 

Looks real nice. Allows been a fan of black cars with tint.
