I painted my calipers and drums black. No point in showing off rear drums. Hehehe.
The car looks great though. Thats a big truck.

well I know they're nothing special (the drums),,,but IMHO they look good painted and it says that I did get off my dead ass and do SOMETHING ,,,,it may not be impressive to a purest,,,but every person that has seen my car asked if they came painted that way from the dealer, and enjoyed the fact that I did it,,,,da ladies don't give a darn if they are drums or disk,,they just like the color!!! And I don't care if the ladies don't know the diff cuz i like the,,,,,well you know what all men are after so I won't get obscene on the forum,,,HEHHEHEHEHE

I kinda have to agree with Grouser, they definetely got my attention.
Hmmm... red brake callipers, those sound like my next plan. Is it easier to find some or paint them? They will make such a rad contrast against the black/purple colour of the car.

Yes the drums are black stock. That's why I painted them, because the black drums just sorta fogged up the center area of the wheel, and did not contrast with the rims at all. Now with the red drums, the wheels REALLY stand out. I was gonna go with CAT Yellow but my girls talked me outta of it. My 74 GTO had the entire gas tank and rear drums, springs and hangers all painted yeollow and I thought it looked trick. It was a Shade of red also. Did the front calipers the other day,,I hit the inner rim of the rotor also,,, right between the wheel and the part that the pads rub,,,turned out SWEET. My wife was along side of me on the freeway and gave a big thumbs up for how it looked. Can't drop it,,, way to much snow here for that, but it would look nizzze fur sure,,,,,

Hey grouser, i know you have the HFP muffler on your car, and you have had it for a little bit. Can you give me a little review of what you think of it? Thanks man.

Well not haveing anything to compare it to I will say this,
I like the sound of it. It's more of a ppuuuurrrrrrrr than a rumble. Not overwhelming at highway speed , the music radio covers it right up when you don't want to hear it. But even without the radio on, it's easy on the ears and normal conversation is no problem. I like the "sport car" sound it gives the car much better than the stock muff. I don't think it's the best looking one available but I think it was worth the money. Hope that helps,,,,,Mike

Thanks dude, totaly helpful! Im definetly going to go with the HFP when i finally buy a Axle back! It sounds like it has the sound im going for, not to loud and to have a nice low purrrrr, plus i like to stick to HFP parts.when i buy rims im buying those HFP 16s that you have. The exhaust isnt the best looking from some angles, but i care more about sound then looks!
