I like this a lot Do you think the ratio of difference between the grip and response is worth it? I also want something a bit more stable!
What modding to the fenders did you need to do for this? And does anyone what's the widest tire size I could install on my car without modding the fenders? With some 15x7 wheels, and I'm lowered on tein s techs!

I'm pretty sure you can get away with 205/50 on s-techs, but it also depends what offset you're running...

BTW the fit looks badass accordguy

A +40 offset is what I'm planning to run,

You should be good with 205/50s

What I'm looking for is that "meaty" tire look, not sure what factors play into it. Is it because the tire is so wide? Or is it just because the tires are new? What makes the tire look so square? I really REALLY like the looks of it!

If you're going for that "meaty" look, you would definitely need to run a wide rim. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe accordintakeguy wheel specs are 15x9 +36. If you're going for that "hellaflush" look with the meaty tires, you're probably gonna have to roll and pull your fenders and run some serious camber with that aggressive set up, but you can also get by with some serious wheel gap

That would depend on your wheel specs.

So clean! Nice job on the mods. Did you put the original spoiler back? I like the CF hood and your wheel choice.

Thanks! I love the spoiler so much that i actually bought another one! But this time had sprayed the top surface to body colour so hopefully will not catch too much of a interest from 'Robin Hoods'! Have not install yet, will take more pics once I've done that...

When my wife ended her lease, we purchased the Tidewater Blue in A/T. I loved the color so much I traded my Hyndai in and got one too but couldn't get one in a 5-speed so I opted for the Storm Silver.

Sorry for the late reply, do they make 215/50 in a 15? The 225s felt weird at first because the tire had to be broken in, now it feels like any other 195 or 205 I had on my car. If you want more grip, I'd recommend just getting 205/50s on a 15x7 wheel with 35ish or slightly lower offset. Then get a nicer set of tires, if you want them to last a while on daily, maybe some Direzza DZ101s would be nice. I had Falken Ziex 912s which don't last very long, but the grip was decent on those. But if you want all out performance, spend a little more for extreme summer tires. Also, a rear sway bar really changes the car up too, you can try that.
