Wow your pictures looks great! I love wide angle shots. Just a few questions if you don't mind (still new to photography). How come you set your shutter speed at 20sec and also, how did you get your XTi to go up to F/32?

As for the car, how did you relocate the license plate down there? It looks goooood!!

marc-o-lishuz (from 8thcivic.com) took the photo's for me, and he mentioned that by setting the shutter speed to 20 seconds but at the same time using a high arpeture value you get sharper images.

As for the license plate, I used the stock plastic mount, flipped it upside down and used 3 zip ties and attached it to the bumper.

Hey guys - I took those photos for smatts. Thanks for the compliments.

@ Lil Wee Fit - I had to use long exposures because lighting was limited. I also wanted very sharp photos so I went down to f32 @ 20 seconds. I was using a Sigma 10-20mm ultra-wide angle lens. And to prevent blur/shaking, I had a GIOTTOS MT93 tripod and used an infra-red shutter remote so I wouldn't have to touch the camera.

I see.. now the question is.. how did you get your XTI up to f32? I thought the highest it can go is f22?

The camera is limited only by the lens you use - my Sigma 10-20mm EX can go as high as f32. The camera only controls the lens, and as you know, the aperture blades are inside the barrel of the lens, not in the camera. Not a lot of lenses can reach f32 (f22 is more common).
