All good things must come to an end...

As most of you saw i recently posted pictures of my TW Fit with my new Work Emotion Wheels...

well the same night as the photoshoot
this morning i go out to the car to go to work and i see
this.......

$2100 dollars in damage!!
Apparently some lady in a truck came into the parking lot probably drunk about 3 hours after i got home after the photoshoot about 1:30 in the morning and backed up into my car...left the parking lot and hit about 5 or 6 other cars. The police don't have an ID on the lady and it's basically a hit and run. So i have to fork out 1000 dollars (crappy deductable) to fix that.
So thank insurance for helping out and giving me a stupid nissan sentra rental and i pray the person who did this will get what is coming to them.
Here are some more of damage....

that's just what the cops said
not sure if she was but she had to be on something to do that to someones car and just leave like that
but it tripped me out that i was the only one who got hit in the parking lot and all the other cars were hit outside of the parking lot

OMG - so sorry about your car - I have been down that road too. It is a hard thing to know that someone could do that and just take off. One reason I am so intense to keep the Fit in my garage instead of on the street because of the hit my Ranger took from a hit and run driver. Hope you can get it fixed good as new!

Let us know how things progress and if they catch this crazy lady.

Cat :x

hit and runs are the worst!!!!!
I have a similar situation as cat, and ironic that her incident was with her ranger and mine was with my explorer sport (for the most part very similar chassis) anyway, I flipped out, and as the girl was backing up and driving off I ran to the truck and opened the door and stopped her from leaving. she was drunk and had no idea what was going on. whats worse, she stole the truck and had no license or insurance.
I paid 3200 out of pocket to get my car fixed... I learned my lesson that it's worth paying more for full coverage then just incidental insurance
hope your fit comes back sparkling! My buddy got a mercury sable for his rental while his teg was in the shop for repairs and we beat the hell out of it. Have some fun, within reason, with the sentra ;-)

hit and run too..didnt saw shit..i was working and saw this at 1 a.m. when got off work. It looked worse, but i washed it and looked like that. For that stupidity the estimate was $3000 but thank God, my dad knew the owner of the bodyshop and brought it down for what the insurance gave me which was like $1980.00..new tailgate only..all other parts were untoched besides the bumper which was fixed perfectly..

but hey..itll be aight man. My best wishes.
