So I have been hiding out a little bit. Work has been killing me. I have been travelling. Bought a new bike and the Lexus is keeping me occupied.

Anyway, the March issue of Modified Magazine is now out on stands. My Fit is in there. Pages 90-92. A full 3 pages! Well, now she is stripped for the most part and belongs to my mom. She is pimping what little mods were left of the car. Anyway, I miss coming over here and I have a project at work that finishes in March...So I should be able to relax here a bit! Should have waited for the SC!

Very nice! How'd you manage to get in the mag? Did you e-mail them or did they contact you?

 

Back in November or so, they were doing a special "Readers' Rides" issue. Just an issue dedicated to the common folk and not Top Secret, Signal Auto, etc! So I sent the editor my website and he dug the Fit. He then wanted to schedule a photo shoot and I told him let me take some shots and send them to you...My camera is decent!

A CD with 90 pictures later and he liked them. Told me to look out for the March issue. I don't know how mags are but I know sometimes with sponsorship's, you have to keep things on the DL as far as terms and such, so I stayed "kinda" quiet about it. Now it's out so I am like COOL!

Thanks for the comments folks. And yes, I took the photo's, the did the writing...there are some goofy lines in there...especially with my last name!

Yeah I know! It's funny. But he doesn't look like his last name would be Poff! That was a fun day of swapping out stuff. I have friends in Orlando calling me sometimes, "Dude! Did you sell your stuff to a guy up here?!" I am like "Yep!" I have my 15 minutes of fame now...I guess a month since it is on stands for a month, and that's all I need. Now it is time to concentrate on the bike!!!

Ha ha! yep....There are little chunks of my Fit floating throughout Florida and a few pieces out in Cali! Good stuff!

And yes....I am happy the Fit got in there. While I love my sexy Lexus, I miss the Fit for gas mileage and good looks.
