Question Flowmaster Hushpower on my Fit??

Video of new muffler - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

contrary to most import drivers (let alone Fit drivers)
i got a Flowmaster Hushpower installed onto my Fit

i personaly love the sound
but was curious as to how fellow Fit drivers might feel about it.

above link is the vid of it of course.

thanks

I like it a lot it's not as Rice Burnerish you know. Will the exhaust get to hot and melt the paint on the rear spoiler?

it burned just a tad bit off the bumper but now that part of the bumper dosnt even touch (and when i say, "just a tad bit" im talking increadibly small portions, lol)

no melting/warping or color change to the paint either
its very nice

Ha, seems your experiment of slap it on and let it melt what it wants worked out. How much was the exhaust, is it cat-back, or just axle back. Any WIP pictures.

the exhaust plus installation (im not a gear-head so i took it somewhere to get it put on) was a little over 300$
im not sure if thats steep or not but i could afford it and im happy with the outcome. i was going to origonaly buy a universal muffler from pep-boys but the mechanics pursuaded me otherwise
not to mention that ive heard many a ricer with nasty far-cans on them and i certainly didnt want my Fit to end up the same.

its from the cat back
resonator off and all

I am really impressed and when my hockey playoffs are over and I can get back to a job ill be looking into this kind of set up. Any power gains I'm sure if there was not to noticeable I think this exhaust with a nice intake would sound wonderful.

WHO CARES! not everyone wants a cookie cutter/store bought car.

not trying to offend, but it's kinda nice to be original once in a while

well it was
-removal of the resonator
-removal of stock muffler
-new pipe and exhaust welded on
-tip welded on

not to mention that i bought the flowmaster from the mechanics themselvs too.

if i had someone like you to talk to before i did this who knew wut i should/could buy for my fit then i probly would have went that route. i dont know many gear heads and knowing that the Fit was fairly new i didnt know what was available for it or not and i didnt want to buy something that wasnt for the Fit
