Yup I needed spacers for the front. The rim were hitting the calipers.

i'm having the same problem aswell.. I got 15" Sprint Harts and i had to put a 3mm spacer on the front aswell... It's hitting the calipers aswell. The funny thing is this rims clear TYPE R brakes but not the Jazz brakes!! bhwbhbhbbabhabhabha.. I think Jazz comes standard with Brembo calipers!!! heheheheh

Talking What an attractive car?!

Hey there!

Jus wanna say your car looks amazing!? How long have you had it? The 15 wheels came as standard didnt they? I think 17s would look absolute mint on your ride! I especially like the contrast the darker windows give it! Have you modded the engine in any way?

Hi Lori,

Thank you.

The car had 14" rims. I'm using 16" now. I like 17" rims but good tires for that are expensive.

Talking Thanx

Yea the 14 inch wheels come as standard over here in the UK (however these tend to look like 'little biscuits' compared to the 'chubby' appearance of the car, especially when seen next to the pick up truck wit 18" wheels) lol! just wondered if perhaps that was different elsewhere! Im planning to put 17 inch wheels on my baby once i get her, had mine designed for a while so really pleased its soon to become reality! How long have you had your car?

In Australia the GLi (1.3 DSI) and VTi (1.5 VTEC) come with 14" and the VTi-S (1.5 VTEC) comes with 15".

On the dirt tracks that they call roads in Sydney low profile tyres with big wheels last as long as the 1st pot hole. I had a set of 15" 50 profile Racing Sparco rims on a previous car which required one wheel to go in for repair every other month.

A kidney belt is also required to withstand the constant jarring that hard suspension and low profile tyres bring on shocking roads.

You'll probably have to roll the guards to fit 17s. 16" 45 profiles fit without a problem.

They are a belt used originally by weight lifters and now by professions that do a lot of lifting as part of their job (fork lift drivers) to prevent low-back and kidney pain, supporting the kidneys, and internal organs. They now use them in motorsport particuarly off road motorcycling.

We had discussions of this in the Fit Trix forum. Lori, you might want to check it out before buying the rims you want. 17" will fit without any complications with the correct offset and tire size. Keep in mind the road conditions of your area. Might not be worth it.

The road conditions where i am in the UK are great so i'm doubting this will be a problem, i've taken everything into consideration but thanx all the same!
