Skunk2 sponsored Me!

Hello to everyone. I have shown my Honda Fit on here once or twice before. The sad news is, is that the one that I "had" was totaled in the snow storm. I hit a telephone pole at about 10mph. dead center of the car, broke the motor mounts and that was the end of that. Now about a week later, I went out and bought me another one. This one is much more beautiful. I was recently sponsored by Skunk2 Racing out in California. I am proud to say that they had sent me a 60mm Skunk2 Exhaust, along with their short throw for the Honda Fit, and also one of a kind Pro-C Dampers. I have just take'n these little nasties for a spin at the Kentucky Speed Way, for the S.C.C.A. Auto cross event that was held this past Sunday. (that would be the 6th of April) There is going to be another one held at the Kentucky Speedway the 20th of April. (which is another Sunday) Now, your prob. saying, "How are they Tony?" I will tell you that most of us know how they work, (adjustment wise) but how are they on the track? Street tires just your basic 220 tread wear on 17"x7" wheels track temp was 86F and air temp was about a good 70F. I will also tell you I am running a cold Air Intake (Injin SP self tunned cold air intake) and with factory headers for back pressure and the Large and mighty 60mm Exhaust again from Skunk2. The Dampers (Pro-C) held up freakin great. This kit is no damn joke. My times on a track with 13 turns were 49.031 and 50.111. I know you all still might not know, "Is that good?" Aaaaa...... Yeah. The other 3 run's that I had run were pretty much just tunning adjustments. After the adjustments were done, Scotty's little S-2000 Could "NOT" keep up, Sorry for all the ones that spent there money on one. boy was he Hot Many others that were watching had something to say in the beginning of the day when they saw me roll that Red Fit in there, but at the end of the Day, when I was working the track, my girl, Dori looked like she was having a good time showing of the car and explaining to everyone "Skunk2 did this for us!" So guy's, I can tell you this as well, 12 way adjustable's, easy install, and the exhaust is not loud, but it is if you know what I mean. the short throw, is a great help and Skunk2 honestly, I couldn't have done this without you. I want to say Thank You for what you have done for Me and Family. I will be Posting again after the 20 of this Month. Any Questions about the Kit Please feel free to contact, Tony. knowdirt@yahoo.com Name: DSCN1147.jpg

Next time instead of putting pics side by side and making the thread a million inches wide, it would be better to press enter inbetween each pic so that they or on top of each other instead of side by side.
Thanks

Tyler

Could you take a 3/4 front view a bit further out? I'd like to see how those wheels and the coilovers look and how the stance is.

No none of it was really free. I did have to only pay xxxxxx. The total I believe came to about xxxxxx.

(ask to enforce pricing policy - contact vendor for prices)

Sounds like a pretty nice deal, those Pro-C's looks sweet!!

An S2000 couldn't keep up

Even with all your modifications I would think that S2000 is still going to have the edge on your car for power down the straights, were you pulling it in the corners?

I guess Skunk2 really likes the MR Fits. They sponsored fit4kris until he sold the car to his momma.

With a good 140-200 wear tire and good suspension, at autox a fit/civic would be right up with s2k's all day even a few Stis and evos. Dont under estimate the power of holding speed in a corner, and a good driver

yes these cost more than normal. Why cause so far I'm the only one to have. They are being made for the others out there. Sorry for not telling you that before. For some of you that want to know, you should contact S2. Last time I've checked, they are having a contest on the Skunk2 web site to win these. I will have to check for you guy's. Or you can check for yourself. Skunk2.com
