it loses a bit of realism because white and black are the two most difficult colors to achieve when starting with a colored image.. it can be done, but it takes loads of time, which i don't have plenty of

yeah, the lighting was pretty bad with the donor SSM headlight, i'm going to take another shot with a better camera in daylight, update tomorrow!
