Nothing special, just some pics of my new exhaust.

 

lookin good man. i love the look of a burnt tip on vbp. they go so well together. i would have gotten this exhaust if greddy made it a full cat back. are you still running the stock mid pipe?

 

yeah stock mid for now

the burnt tip does look pretty good with VBP now that I have it on. The sound quality is really good too.

 

yea, it was actually the first aftermarket exhaust for the fit that i heard. i fell in love... about five minutes later i saw and heard the j's racing 50rr and completely forgot about this exhaust.

 

Nice exhaust!!!!(I would know haha) Everyone thinks it looks like a fart can but I think mine looks great. Burnt tip FTW. Nice suspension BTW

You are pretty brave to climb under there and remove those bolts with just a rolling floor jack balancing the rear of the car.

 

haha that would be brave! I had the front wheels blocked off though

How's the Tein running?? I don't see much people putting Tein in the car yet, I will say you are the first one I saw (may be I didn't check other).

How many inch you drop??

sy11580: The Tein Basics feel great on the Fit. The ride is a little more stiff then stock, especially when hitting large bumps on the freeway, but overall the ride is super comfy! I dropped down to a 1 finger gap, even though I could go lower...which drives some other forum members nuts haha. They are like "slam that ish!" I like knowing I could, but I don't need to.

Fitftw: The exhaust sounds great. You can hear the growling while you drive but overall it carries a low profile. People will not hear you coming until you are almost right on top of them. The metal/welds are really good quality too.

 

That's not going to prevent the vehicle from dropping down on top of you if that jack ever slips, or decides to give out. You really should have been using some jack stands.

So with the Tein Basics, you would infact be able to eliminate all unnecessary wheel gap between the wheel arch and the top of the tire if need be?

 

I believe so...I have a lot more room to play with using my wrenches. I suppose I won't know for sure until I try it out. Maybe someone else with the Tein Basics already has
