bun mei/bahn mi is a vietnamese sandwich. it's made with pickled raddish and carrot, cilantro, fresh jalapeno slices, pate (sandwich spread similar to liverwurst), and a processed meat or bbq pork pieces (i've even had one filled with sardines), then drizzled with a vinegar/soy sauce mixture, and sandwiched between a baguette. recipe changes depending on the store you go to, but they're all typically the same.
