Since you saw which house the punks were hanging out at maybe you could of knocked on the door and see if the parents were home?
Explain to them a WITNESS saw the kids at the house was throwing crap at your car and the dent it caused.
I'm sure the parents would at least interrogate the kids behind close door to find the guilty subject.

i had that same thing happen to me when i had my civic si. these punks all ghetto fabbed up has nothing better to do in their lives but mess with things. low life scumbags! you should take that 24mm nut and throw it back at their house window or something. they dont know where you live.

 

Nothing wrong with a good old fashion egging or toilet papering. Go there late at night really really late and make them breakfast on their car. Put two eggs some bacon couple pieces of toast with butter on the hood and top of the car. Jam under the handles or honey or pb. Tons of ways to get them back just be smart about it.


I really wouldn't suggest doing any of it but its always an option :P

I have been doing a LOT more reading than posting lately, but when i saw this thread I had to chime in.

4th of July, driving down a main street on my way home some 8-10yo kid threw something at my car. Bounced off the windshield luckily. I wanted to slam on the brakes and grab the little bastard by the afro and drag them to their parents, but I was a bit out numbered. It was not the "best part of town" and the kid happened to be black..... so did the 40 or so people around that block (mind you it was the 4th of July and I was about 1 mile away from the firework display/Lake Michigan), NO EXAGGERATION. I would have gotten killed or arrested for a hate crime for sure!


... Would have been fitting though, I absolutely HATE ignorance.

I would definitely want this kids parents to know what he had done to my car and if they were honest they would offer to pay for the repairs. Unfortunately, too many parents could care less and probably have the same bad attitude and lack of respect for others property as this kid did.

So sorry this happened to you. Keep the faith and know that things will get better.

If you have time and do not mind spending few bucks (if you loose the case) in small claims court to make a point, sue kid's parents and even subpoena the lady in the yard you approached! That will get their attention and their kid a juvenile criminal record.
You might be doing them a favor too.
Today a 24mm nut in their hand, tomorrow a handgun!

At least go back there and have a word with their parents. Who knows maybe they offer to cover the damage without the small claims court!

I think you should just woop their asses. Some people just need to be beat down. Your taking it better than me. If that was me in that situation. I would have been back later with a bottle of gas and a rag sticking out of it! There would be hell to pay. Teens or not. They should know not to phuck with peoples rides!!!! Period!!!
