Hey guys i had her for about a week now. I am thinking about geting her a tint job now to but not sure what tint % any suggestions would br great. I was thinking about 5% all around i had that on my last car. But it made it hard to drive at night because it was hard to see out of my mirrors. Thanks for any input on this and any comments on the car oh she just hit 600 miles today. I will see u all at the meet on the 3rd is it

wow ur one of the only on besides me thats repping that rs emblem, i mean ive heard other guys saying that they want it but i havnt any that actually put it on besides me and maybe 1 or 2 others, very clean car, looks just like mine, ya i need to get the real jdm red badges bec bugs keep getting inbetween the front one, im going to epoxy glue my shit on so one can steal my emblems, very clean car man

 

Not a fan of people rocking Soshinoya badges just 'cause it's "JDM," but otherwise pretty sexy.

The RS badge doesn't seem centered enough to me, but I'm a perfectionist ass so if it looks good to you, mission: complete. :]

I have 35% tint all around other than windshield, but I want it on there too. What's the tint on the Evo? Looks like you have it on the windshield too. Ever get bothered by the 5-0? I'm still sketchy about my tint.

 

Thanks for the comments. The JDM ones like mine are pricey though i paid 45 per one. The RS emblem looks so good with the Red badeing on the vivid blue FIT if u ask me.And just to let u know xonexlifex ur car was one of the cars on here that i liked and got ideas for mine. I still need HID And a couple more mugen goodies for the interior.

 

The evo had 5% all around. Not sure if i want that dark again??? It was hard to drive at night with that. And no never has problems with cops and i am in CA. But if i did i would just roll the whindows down with a quick ness.

 

you've done a lot already for a week old fit, a tint and a drop will do it and I say do the lemo tint on the back the darkest one but don't know how much % of a tint is that but a dark one would look good.

 

5%, haha, nice. 35% is still very easy to see at night, I highly recommend it.

Also please don't get different tint in the front from the back. I hate cars with it, it looks so damn ugly. Get the same all the way around, please. :]

 

Yea i hate that too the darkest is 5%. I love the look of it but hard to drive at night with it. I am going for the same % all around i am trying give the car just a really nice clean look to it. Was thinking of geting some rims to ethier the NR or the TI whites from hondafittuner.com.

 

x2! Having the same percentage all around is sooo much cleaner. I have 35% all around and i love it, no real worries from the cops and still a little privacy. But if ur looking for privacy, id say get 20% all around, it shouldnt be that hard to see out at night.

Thanks for all the help guys i was looking at that thread early today. i'm thinking 20% all around. But i know how in pics it looks different then in person more than likely i will go with 20%. oh and i think this is a good deal they are doing all 9 whindows for 175 cash and thats with a lifetime warrenty and if the cops pull me over for it they take it off for free to its eliteimage in San Diego i got the hook up through friends at hondafittuner. I got the evo done there to they do a great job

 

Car looks really good. Nice tasteful mods. Is that a genuine Mugen strut bar? It looks like it has a mugen logo on it, but I thought the Mugen one looked different. I could be wrong.

 

Ur right on the money it is not the real one. this one cost me $45 the real one is around $245. I wanted to try this one out first i was going to get the real one but thought i would give this a try out for the price. But from what i hear this one rattles around no matter what u do. I have not drove the car sience i put it on today. So we will see if it does than i will save up and buy the real thing. My next mods are real mugen boot and brake handle and peddles too. Oh yea and the visors are fake mugens too they were $30 but i liked them more because they were just sticky taped instead of clip. Those are the only knock offs i have. But i might just get the real visors too. I am obsesed with real mugen for the FIT so i more than likely will take those both out and change it for the real ones. And i have the Mugen Blue oil cap coming in a couple days the real one LOL

Haha, that's what I thought. Sometimes knockoff get the job done(my wheels) for a cheaper price. Either way your car is looking good.

 

I took it of today that thing rattles like he$$. F*** that bar yea its cheap but dam i thought i would be able to fix it. It looks like i will be saveing up for the real one now!!!!!

 

why thank you man, ur the first to tell me that, i really appreciate that. ya i mean no one here in my town has anything done to their fit and when they see mine they go crazy bec none of them are fixed up here, i like the attention in town but ive never really got it on here bec theres so many good looking fits on here, so thanx again for that. by the way, you cant go wronge with an HID kit, absolutely a must for the fits poor halogen bulbs. id go 20-25$ tint on all the back windows and 35-40% on the front ones, thats what i have and its perfect, im soo glad i didnt go darker bec if i did than id get pulled over forsure, plus it would be pretty hard for me to see at night with 5% all around

holy crap! Thats hella cheap! I envy how tint down south is soo much cheaper... but then again thats the "homie hook-up price" right?? haha
