If your bases arent sitting in the lower spring mounts reverse it, then pull the collars.

Itll bring the rears down another .5in to 1in.
Remember once you do this theres no adjustment. Youll have to put the collars back in for any kind of height adjustment.

I personally think it sits nice.

tryin to make more sense of what you said, so you are basically running straight spring in the back with the rubber under the spring?

Looking good! 8K or 10K headlights?

You just now got your GD3? You might be the last person ever to buy a new GD3, unless you bought it used.

imho, i think 16's look better, 17's just look too massive. my car originally
came on 17s from the dealer (show room car) but i had to get rid of em.

a few more "low quality" pics taken by a friend yesterday. pics were taken with a camcorder and car is filthy. hard to keep anything clean here in southeast texas, weather goes from hot-cold-rainy-foggy-windy etc. all within 1 week, its ridiculous

Enjoy :

No. No collars, bases cut in half, and Im not running any rubber inserts.
The bases are there, but no collars. The collars are what the springs sit on to raise and lower the car.

Seeing those pics above it sits fine for the modded rears.
Are those Motegi's on a TL? :-/

yes in these pics the collars are removed. it lowered it about 1/2 an inch. just low enough to eliminate the tire gap
