it would have looked WAY better if they did the door cloth in the same material. I had yellow and black leather on my Protege 5 a couple years ago and did the yellow leather on the doors to replace the factory fabric. It made a big difference. That price isnt actually bad for leather interior.

oooh. ahhh.

I was playing around the other day at this site with their seat selector:
Katzkin Leather Interiors

And the designs shown in your photos are a lot like what I picked out. As I have the Taffeta White car.

Start playing around with colors at Katzkin:
KATZKIN SEAT COLOR SELECTOR

Says they have the pattern for the Fits, all years, on the site. But it won't show the Fit pattern with the seat color selector. And you don't have to have any logo or embroidery on the seats.

Unhappy

At first it's an impressive thing, but meh.

I've had leather 2 cars ago, and it's not that great. Certainly not worth $1700 to me and temperature-wise it's less comfy than cloth seats.

Yeah, they do wipe off real nice if you have a spill, but you also slide around on them while your driving. Not for me. To each his own.

How much SHOULD custom leather + install cost? That dealer price doesn't sound too bad to me, but dealers are usually generally more expensive.

probably cost the dealer less than $700 installed. just look at the wheel locks. $120 for wheel locks? thats bullshit. the dealershit probably paid $10 for the wheel locks, and charges $120. thats robbery

Yeah 95% of dealers use Katzkins. I had to previous vehicles fully sponsored by Katzkins (a protege5 and a celica). Thier kits are awesome! Good quality and if you have a good bit of automotive know how and some right tools, they are pretty easy to install, but there are a lot of interior shops that do the install pretty cheap cause there is no sewing involved.

My only question with the Fit is what about the side airbags in the seats??

Here was mine with black and yellow in the Protege 5. See the top door inserts, thats part of thier kit for that car as well.
