duplicolor rattle can NHBP. not perfect, but it's close. i'm not the best painter either.

wheels are next on the agenda. right now i'm leaning towards 15" konig heliums in silver.

yeah, i picked it up at kragen. they come in smaller cans in factory colors. it says nighthawk black pearl on it. it even has the metallic flecks in the paint. i'm going to polish it up with some polishing compound, it should look better.

i'd rather the Kosei K1 TS in 14"... but i don't think you can run zero bump steer kits/roll-center adjuster kits with 14's.

Looks good in the pic, for rattle can. Why dint you take it to a body shop to be painted? That's what I would have done and couldn't have cost that much.

Thumbs up

looks really good for an unpolished rattle-can job!

i just read through a thread on H-Tech about vinyl wrap and was wondering how hard it would be to wrap a sport lip.

it was already NHBP, but i bought it with minor damage and i wanted to touch up the damage. the passenger side of the lip is repainted and the driver side is stock NHBP. i might eventually get it professionally painted, but for $10 for paint and clearcoat and a little time, it looks pretty good. i'm planning on painting the whole car in a few years anyway.

what'd you use to mount it? Did you have to drill holes or just use some 3m?

drilled three holes for the front and two on each side where it mounts in the wheel well. the 3 front holes are not really noticeable as they are nearly under the bumper. i didn't use 2 of the OEM mounting points for the front as it requires cutting the bumper, and i see this as overkill. the 7 screws i have holding it on are more than enough.
