Al rite when i have some time ill see what i can do. I only need to mess with the one headlight it's the only one having these problems. The driver side is 100% perfect.

Are your retro fit's bi-xenon. The way they work amazes me but I love it (with the shield moving)

Yup, bixenon. I love how quick it switches too. One of my friends stopped by yesterday and was amazed at how quick the shield moves. If you don't have time before the meet in June I can take a look then. The headlight glue is black, so I doubt thats whats on the light.

everytime i've taken apart housings to paint them or whatever, i either use a heat gun, or bake them at 225-235 for about 15 minutes...

when i go to reseal them, heat them up again, and press... i also put a bead of permatex window sealant to ensure a waterproof seal... fwiw...

very nice!

from the other thread... are you looking to upgrade your existing brakes, or were you talking about getting a bbk for the front?

I don't really want to do a BBK but I want to get drilled and slotted and some racing pads I'm tired of them warping and pulsing when braking it's annoying as hell.

I meant to thank you for all the information you provided I will definitely be using it. Just got side tracked at work forgot to reply.

I was also thinking about upgrading the calipers. Are there any gains or do they all basically operate the same.

some will tell you that if you upgrade to a true 2 piston caliper that you will see better stopping power, but that isn't necessarily true... the piston bore size is a major factor...

the factory slider calipers aren't bad... i know they have a tendency to wear the inside pads quicker, and that may be the gain you see by going to a different caliper... but i don't know enough of what kinds of calipers are available for the fit... i've seen a few posts about acura calipers and whatnot but i'm not really sure...

for a dd, even if you enjoy the occasional brake race, i'm not sure the gains that you'll get from an upgraded caliper will be worth the cost... unless they're cheap...

i'm just going to paint the calipers with that g40 black paint... clean them up a bit...

Yup i painted my calipers black a long time ago. I want to get me some drilled and slotted rotors, some nice pads, and change my brake fluid. Sometimes my ABS kicks in and vibrates the petal going over bumps or holes while braking. I think this happens because the warpage the car things it's not gripping as it should and applys ABS.

yeah rotor warp will do that...

give adam an email, pick up some good fluid, and hps/r4s pads and profit... that setup should do everything you want it to...
