how long will the paint last? will it chip off after time? I talked to a mechanic friend of mine and he said the paint will not last because of the rim being aluminum. I was asking to paint my rims too.

the paint is made for aluminum and its made for wheels, if its prepped right with sanding, primer, paint and clear coat than it will stay on pretty much the life of the wheels, the paint is made for stock rims and they are to match all the stock colors that the rims on your car comes in, you can go to the duplicolor site and it talks about it and how to install it. trust me if you beat it with a hammer im sure that it will come off but usual driving wont do it, plus its made to no chip at all.

Sure it looks good now I'm not saying it doesn't, I'm just saying down the road you will have paint issues it's inevitable with a spray job. You can beat my wheels with a hammer all day and they won't chip.
