New to the site

Hi, just wanted to post pics of our new car and old cars.

Liked modding our previous cars, but over in the UK the Jazz / Fit is somewhat harder to so if you guys have any ideas we would really appreciate it

Here is my old car

And this is the wifes

Our new car is this

We do have our eye on a set of spoon springs and then we like the idea of getting some white 15s with blue bolts. Need to find a set of rims we like though

Very nice car, I am driving a Jazz with the same look, too. I think your direction sounds very cool. Any white wheel, e. g. Buddy Club P1 SF or Rota Slipstreams, will look good. Looking forward to your ideas!

Cheers guys. Ideally we have our eyes on some spoon springs but have to wait a little bit first. Also in the future white wheels look like the way forward.

As for trading in, it was my EP3 that we traded in. I do 38 miles a day for work and I need to bring running costs down. The Teg is going too, but thats because my wife is being made redundant at the end of the month. Its going to be weird as we have had at least 1 type R in the family for nearly 4 years.

The Jazz is an 06 model, 2006 with 22,000 miles on the clock. It will have hads its 3rd service before we pick it up. We are just waiting on the transfer of my plate. Saying that the Teg currently has T11YP R on it but we are putting this on rentention in the hope that we will get another one day.

For our wedding we had an FD2 and would love one when the economy picks up and my wife gets another job

i would give my left nut to have that ITR...seriously who needs two

Anyway welcome to fit freak! There are endless mods for this car making it a great buy, you get looks and excellent gas mpg . You can actually look at the picture thread for your color to get some ideas. Sad to see the EP3 go but I love the looks of the GD much more. Congrats and enjoy

Lol, we didnt need 2 Type Rs, but we both used them for work and could afford to run them so did. The cars are the reason we met and both loved driving them. We were all about having the same standard of car rather than 1 really nice and 1 not so (hope this makes sense).

Thanks for the welcome, but I think its going to be a struggle to obtain the mods while the £ is so weak and shipping to the UK is always quite expensive. My unlce lives in the US so might have to ask him to get the bits and ship them to me, but only when the £ becomes a little stronger as the whole idea of the Jass was to save us money

Hello and welcome to the forum stranger

I think you will find it slightly easier to find parts for your GD than my GE so all the best buddy!

Keep me posted

Welcome to the forums fellow UK Jazz owner

There are loads of mods you can do to your Jazz, and not everything is super expensive. You'll probably already know this but the UK Sport is the same body shape as the JDM Fit's, so you have a good base to start on!

Good luck with the mods.

Still the Jazz is not a bad little car although my wife is not looking forward to being stuck at home with no car
