This. Although I'm still weary because my car is brand new and will be under warranty for a long time I would hate to have to pay even more attention to the roads to dodge obstacles all the time! I've done that with a bagged mini-truck already, not going back to that.

Sucks dude..shouldn't the city pay for the damage on your car? That thing looks like a freakin' volcano so high off the ground..

Hahahah! You're not even low.
The subframe would have hit first as the pans around 1in above it. You must have been going kinda fast.

Was going 5 mph. There was a car that bolted in the direction i was going, so i had to turn right into the cover or get crunched. People in va have no respect for lowered cars.

If i was as low as you, id be screwed. Our area has had this massive growth out of know where. So all the new establishments and subdivisions have ridiculous bumps into driveways to keep water flowing right.

If you where going 5 mph and some one darted out infront of you couldn't you have just hit the brakes to stop?

ouch

there was this odd lump on one of the streets in las vegas that i passed by this weekend. it had to be at least a foot high and it wasn't a speed bump, more like a mound . it could've really done some damage if i hit it, good thing the Fit is so nimble
