NHBP +16" HFP !!! - Toronto

finally got back home to play with my fit and get pic's up!
was one of the first to order back in mid april, finally done my exams!

my fit baby! i luv it!

NHBP

LX Model
Trendsetter package (16" HFP, Sport Front Grille, Silver interior garnishes)
+Security
+keyless
+fogs
+that 3M clear hood guard thing (thrown in)
+cargo net (thrown in)
= totalled ~$25K incl. everything

the car was MSRP, and i asked for all the above options, they gave em to me discounted from the prices i had priced out on honda.ca
, dealt with Mississauga Honda (nice ppl)
i opted for the LX instead of the sport cause i plan to put on my own kits (mugen?) and i've used paddle shifters on other cars, i figure if i had them on the fit, i'd only use it maybe once a year to show to a friend or somethin lol

anyway, its awesome, enjoy ur fits fitfreaks!
shoutouts to Toronto/GTA/Mississauga fit's, lets get some meets goin' on! and group buys!

what's MSRP on the car in Canada, eh?

and those sport grills are hideous. Why they label them "sport" is totally beyond me.

LX Auto = $18,380

yea i kinda agree, at first i thought that 'Sport Front Grille' was the black mesh one, but meh it came with the trendsetter package (i chose for the wheels and interior trims) but i think its easily removable, its just glued on from instructions i saw in some installation pdf

what pissed me off at first was my parents told me insurance more than doubled after this car

before:
1 luxury car
1 suv
3 drivers (dad, mom, me-i'm 20)
~$4000/yr

now:
1 luxury car
1 suv
1 fit
3 drivers
~$9700/yr!!!!

i freaked out, and my mom was yelling at the insurance company about how in 2 years, that'd be enough to buy another fit, i guess they didnt know what the fit was, after some more calls about how the car's an econobox, rarely driven, i'm a straight A, engineering student, responsible, etc etc, then they bumped it down to only ~5000/yr which is more reasonable

i'm still on my G2 too (too lazy, didnt have time lately), so once i get my G, it should be lowered more

soooo jealous of everyone in the TO area that already has their Fit! haha. We should have left St. Catharines and gone to one of the bigger dealerships. Maybe I would have mine now instead of more than a month from now. No worries...anyhow the car looks great. And we definitely should have a Fit night once a month complete with wings and beer to celebrate Honda's infinite wisdom in auto design

Congrats to you! I love those wheels, I think they would look phenominal on the Orange. I might have to look into them.

Let's get a meet going once more people take delivery. Especially Fit 4 A Queen. :-P

being a primary driver as a G2 is killing you..

having a new car that is hard to replace (due to short supply) doesn't help either

i would check to see you are getting the same coverage at 5000 vs 9000.. because that's a big price difference.. i been with my company for over 10 years and even they don't give me that big of a "discount"

I think he's including taxes and freight with his total price.

I'm entering week two on my FIT wait and it's killing me. I too, bought one in the Mississauga Dealership. The plus side to the wait is that it gives me more time to figure out how to come up with the down payment cash.

I think the HFP rims were way over priced for what they were.
