i kinda cut the rear fender flange off. then just sanded t hem down
im to broke to roll the fenders.


but i will roll the fronts.

i want to rock some 16's...35-40 offset.
that would be nice.


im shooting for 16's....15's are too small.

OMG I had never seen this until I started driving my MR around town. I have looked over to see them sitting on the side in a parking lot with the radar on and we are looking at each other. Make eye contact ! Shiver! I am never going over the speed limit so I don't have to worry about it but I have seen them turn around and come up behind me - maybe red gives the impression of going fast - LOL!

i never own a red car before either, but im more paranoid now driving a red car.

ive gotten pulled over 4 times, and let go for random things.it kinda sucks in away.

i mean when my buddies were racing down a long stetch of freeway. there was a white car, red car, and silver car. and let me tell you, i saw that red car for at least 3 miles ahead of me. i didnt even notice the other cars.

 

I actually hate red myself. Ive always told myself that Id never own a red car.
MR is just so nice. Its such a simple color too. No pearls, no metallics, nothing.
Its just red. And from what I remember at my friends body shop. Only 2 colors are used to make Milano red. A magenta color and black.

MR looks so nice next to other reds. As another user on her says; "Its so festive!"

I have been pulled over for speeding in my Fit. The cop blamed it for being red.
He also swore my windshield was tinted. *rolls eyes*

 

yeah they always say that,
"you know i saw you because you own a red car right"

or" you probably wouldn't be pulled over if your car wasn't red"

 

Thats when we reply with;

"Well if you werent acting shady like all cops hiding in the corner I would have seen you!"

 

thats when they write you a ticket. com on ray....hahah

thats only after you get the ticket right?

 

Hi to all, and thanks for all the great info on this site! I've been watching the forum for about a month now, and thanks to the great give and take here I received my MR Fit Sport AT Friday. I've been busy since then - I ordered the red badges in advance of buying the Fit, and as luck would have it they arrived Saturday. In addition, I installed a Sirius Sportster 4 portable tuner (backlight color goes well with the Fit interior lighting) and found a place for my Garmin Nuvi 360, which doubles as my hands-free device (here in CA we just had a hands-free cell phone law passed).

The Fit just returned today from the tint shop as well (15% rear, 35% front - CA law prohibits front window tinting). I have the zetaproducts deadpedal and armrest on order and they should be here by the end of the week.

As for me, I'm a 40 y.o. married guy with two fantastic boys, 7 and 10, who think the Fit is really cool. And since I'm 6'4" and 235 lbs, they've nicknamed it the Incredibles car. I'm pretty conservative, so I'll probably slow down on the mods after the zetaproducts stuff gets installed, but I will live vicariously through the rest of you on this great forum. I was drawn the Fit after owning trucks, sports sedans and SUV's, primarily for its economy and its funky styling, but the love for the car exhibited on this site was the thing that helped me make my final decision.

yeah.....sidemarkers to me are also a saftey factor.

it helps larger vehicles to see that i want to change lanes. and the look factor is super cool.
