So, I joined the MR Fit club instead of the BOM like I had planned 
I called the dealership on Friday where I had the BOM on order. They delayed its delivery date for at least 2 more weeks. I couldn't swing that. So, I decided to call around to some local dealerships to see what was available on the lots. I came across a VBP and this MR. The MR was much closer to my house, so I decided to go check it out after they had closed Friday night. They had it sitting right on the corner of the lot next to the road where a blind man could see it I saw it and thought it was a beauty. Pictures do not do it justice. It is such a beautiful car in person. In fact, the MR was not even one of my choices for color... but things do certainly change. I do NOT regret getting the red. In fact, it keeps growing and growing on me everytime I peek my head in my garage to look at it 
I was a chicken and had my friend drive it home for me (because I've not had much experience with an MT.) When we got it home, I took it for a stroll in my neighborhood. I was ashamed for not having driven it home. It shifts like butter and sour cream on a baked potato! LOL I never once stalled it or squealed tires on the road. What's even better is that I got this car for a better deal than the one I had on order, and I got some all-season floor mats and cargo tray thrown in for $17,100, OTD. So, anyway, that's my story! Sorry for the long wind. I'm still so excited! I can't wait to get it out again tomorrow before work!! (And, yes, that is my Boston Terrier, Justice, who is just as excited as I am about the new car!)

They dont make the wheels anymore and arent that easy to find. They do have them on ebay every now and then but they cost close to $1000. Sometimes MORE.
Ive seen 1 other set of my wheels. Made me mad, AND it was on a red Eg hatch which pissed me off even more. The car looked good though.

just got back from HIN this weekend turned out pretty well. im sure you saw the thread i posted too.
theres another show this weekend but its outside and houston weather is soo hott i dont know if i want to go out there! but we'll see if so i'll definately post pics!

Looks great. The MR was not my first choice but my wife really liked it over the silver. I'm sure glad because I love it now. She has a new Accord EX loaded and this car is for me to replace my Jeep. Just bought a Goldwing Thurs. so haven't driven it since.

OW! Hate that when it happens! I missed a great photo op a few weeks ago. Went into the store - Fit is only a month old so I park in the back 40. Came out and there parked beside my MR Sport was a red fire truck. Perfect photo op missed. It looks so cute beside the red fire truck!

if I ever see you when I get to Florida, ill buy you a beer(or a pepsi nvm). Dont get me wrong, im just admiring the fact that you do things at your style. Props, looks good! would love it in a bigger size wheel though
