some new minor mods done to mine in the front:
Blacked out front "H" emblem
Clear front signal bulbs but lit up amber




^^Those are 10000k bixenon HID's with PIAA Ion Yellow Foglights and Ion yellow Parking Lights (setup looks way better in person)

Front looks interesting with the black Honda symbol. I would have to see more pics to pass judgement, though. I'd like to see more pics of the rear end in daylight. Keep it up!

 

thanks. the front H makes a lot of difference. People notice it quickly, most pointing out it looks better like that. I know i do think that way to each his own though.

Just a question did anyone try to open your Fuel Door and get the FUEL on it! Did your FIT ALARM?

I wakeup this morning going to work. I notice that my FIT Fuel is Fu*Ck*ng EMPTY! I just put FULL TANK gas yesterday!

Do you guys know where I can buy FUEL DOOR with LOCK? any web site?

I HOPE THE 2008 HONDA FIT have FUEL LOCK! I will trade-in my 2007 FIT to 2008 FIT if they have FUEL LOCK!

*GAS or FUEL COST to much! THATS why people stealing FUEL !

btw..that is very frickin rare!! ive never heard something like that;stealing gas. I mean, they probably sucked it through a tube if you didn't saw anything else weird. You should check if you still have the tank under the car lol

 

dont your fuel door lock itself when u lock ur doors? did they forced it open?

 

Naw. Us in the US don't have a locking mechanism for the fuel door itself. It can be opened anytime during the day (or night) by anybody. The only option we have is a locking gas cap itself that u got to remove with the included keys.

Just a thought...but wouldn't blacking out the rear H emblem and even the FIT emblem match better with your blacked out emblem? It looks as if you don't have a badge in front, which doesn't look too attractive.

 

But you gotta understand, he ran out of paint...

 

naw man. im later changin the front grill so it doesnt worries me 2 much. Due to a rock chip in the front emblem, i painted it again, but this time with a little more gloss paint, and stands out better IMO. I actually painted the emblem so it looked stealth, or as you could say, that it appeared that i have no emblem at all. Could be non atractive to you, but i like it that way and as i said before, other people do too, maybe its just not you . Thanks for the thought though. LOL and i didnt ran out of paint, i sent it to a buddy's paintshop the first time.

 

I hope u'r budy sanded the chrome on the emblem. It'll help stick better. It shouldn't chip if it was painted that way. But nothing touchup wouldn't do. Actually, I think it would look cool if it was gunmetal. I might have to try that!

 

he didnt sand it, instead he added some covering stuff on it first, and then spray painted it..worked and turned out pretty good. but that rock hit me reel hard because i heard it while doing 80+ on the freeway.

Oh and honestly, thats why i dont care bout the black one too much, because I plan on painting a chrome H emblem with a light smoke spray, that would look like my tailights, some sort like a "black chrome"... that is if i dont get the new grill first

 

So why bother painting it black? To make it look like there is no emblem...but when you could just take the front emblem off and get the same effect with less work?
Like I said..it doesn't match any other part of your car, if you headlights had the black housing or if you had other stuff that was blacked out it would flow more. Now it just looks out of place. But looking at just the emblem and grill part itself, it looks alright.

 

man, it didnt meant to be part of a combination of the car. Thats personal preferences if you either want to black out all your emblems or not. I decided to do that one only because i dont like the chrome one too much and less the jdm one. To each their own; I really wount be that cheap-looking to just pop off the emblem and leave it like that. If im doing something, ill do it the best i can. Although, the car is not fully modded, the emblem could later combine with my wheels.
Those who get the red jdm emblems.. does their red combine with anything else in the car? probably not(keeping in mind many do one emblem only, either the front or the rear one)
