I hate my wink mirror, it vibrates like crazy and aims down whenever I hit a bump. Maybe cause its glued to the windshield and not mounted to the visors like you could with the GD's. I can't even tell what's behind me cause it vibrates so much. I wanna take it off and install a gentex mirror.

Try installing it like i did. That thing doesnt vibrate down one bit. Sure it vibrates a little when u have the stereo on or am driving on a bumpy ass road but it doesnt move one bit. Those windshield mounts are garbage. I couldnt do the windshield mount anyways bec i have window tint on the top of my windshield. You dont even need the middle bracket if u dont need it. But ya thats why i made this thread bec i want people to know that theres other ways to do this without those mounts. The mirrors are garbage if the move or vibrate too much but when u fix all the kinks theres no way id go without one.

Well the GE's don't use screws to hold in the sun visors, so there's no place to bolt the wink mirror too. The only place to install one on a GE is on the windshield unfortunately. I got that silicone glue all over my windshield too now man.

Looks good. Does it get in the way of the visors though?

Hahahahahaha. Im guessing u never had one or ever seen one in a car. I never thought they were worth it until i saw it in a civic at a meet last year. Its soooooooooooo usefull and totally worth every penny to get it to work right. I love my mirror and wuld never go back. The stock mirror is useless to me now

I'm pretty curious of what kind of crazy peripheral vision you would be getting with this mirror. LOL. I have the regular broadway mirror, but the stock mirror is crap. You have to center it perfectly to see the whole rear windshield. I'd be scared to crash with this huge mirror in my car though =/.

definitely different, I like the broadway mirrors. To each his own though, I give you lots of credit for thinking outside of the box. Just don't confuse any school buses
