UTAH vtecfit1's new GE (mugen)

OK so i sold my GD and picked up a 2010 GE
here's why and it was all within a week, i wasn't even thinking about selling but a friend of mine CALLED ME ON THURSDAY and said he knew someone looking for a Fit and wanted to spend around 10,500 - long story short, after not finding a single used fit in salt lake, i offered her mine for 13.5 and she talked me down to 12.5 but allowed me to take several things off of it (i.e. rear spoiler, springs, HID's, amp&sub, CAI (for auto), so i pretty much got more in the long run than i wanted and it's over high bluebook.
i found a 2010 sport nav/vsa M/T in WA and had it 3 days later, within 6 hours of signing papers, lowered it (07 sprint blues) added the hid's off the 07 also, and ordered the mugen skirt kit, and grill (employee cost kicks ass since i work for honda)(PM your ZIP for pricing if interested)

3 hours LATER

HID' difference

mugen

mugen stuff installed - lonely photo shoot

i think i'm gonna take the org exhaust tip off since it rattles anyway and it will look better

here are a few custom mugen decals i made, since i dont want to have some f-ing theif f-up my paint prying off the real mugen emblems

yes the STUPID original dealer drilled the ft bumper for the licence plate frame

getting better pic's soon and changing the placment of decals on the rear of the car this weekend

one last pic

next mods - short shifter (love this M/T) - WEIGHTED shift knob - MUGEN mirror cover (see front pic above and imagine how much better it will look - and at employee cost i cant pass it up) - WHEELS WHEELS AND MORE WHEELS

MORE TO COME

The Mugen grill is amazing looking! I wish they would have done one that fit the usdm GDs that looked like that or like the one for the ep3 civic.

you can order it ! You just can't build it on thier website, funny you ask too - i didnt order it but found it in a dealers inventory in washington state. I searched e v e r y dealer in the entire nation (i work at a honda dealer) and there were only 3 (three) in the entire 49 states - i did a dealer trade for and odyssey and paid shipping for both but hey i got what i wanted and with minimal wait (3days)

really digging the fit! i have a ssm ge8, and always wanted to see it in with a mugen kit. How much did you pay for your kit with your employee pricing?

I am tempted to know as well, since your GE8 looks very clean.

Definitely a great start. Fit and finish on Mugen pieces is better than OEM. Of course I'm not being serious, but I have never seen any Mugen aero piece need any type of work to fit perfectly.

You went from a GD to a GE8 idk...

Car looks really good I'm not sure I like the mugen stickers by the fender. Just a little to much.
