All the damage is under the car. The paint is called Hypnotic Teal Mica, its off the xB's. I didnt want clear, so I mixed activator into the paint and sprayed it.

Me and a friend did it ourselves.

 

Sad to see the car go Ray, it really was a nice looking car even with some of the questionable things you did. Hope you will pop in every now and then a show us what is going on with your newest project.

I had no matching lip to put on the car. Hahh! I have a white and red Sport lip, but that would look terrible.

So yea, the aluminum went with her. It was pretty banged up.

 

I saw an xB yesterday and recognized the color! But I've never seen it up close, it must be a pearl then. What is activator? Your Fit was red, right? Why did you paint it? Just to be different?

 

Activator is just what its name is. It activates the paint, causes it to cure. Yes, she was red. I painted her because 2years after owning her she started to turn pink. The hood, roof, pillars, and trunk hatch had faded to pink.

Made a Honda claim, nothing happened. Had it detailed many times to try and revive it. It was too far gone. So I sprayed her.

 

i saw a XB one day with your paint and i thought thats where you got it from but the clear coat made it look a lot different.

 

Any news on the MINI Ray? Only you would care enough about a car to want her to look decent going to the junkyard! I think a Mini painted up like a WWII P51 Mustang would be NUTS.... Polished aluminum except for the nose (bright yellow, or red) Checkerboard fire-wall and of course a hot girl wearing very little underneath the mirrors (nose-art FTW)

 

What a GREAT idea!!!! I can see it now...the nose art thing would be killer! You could even install a ball turret at the top...ok that might be going a little too far with the theme...

But seriously, that would be a show-worthy paint job....

That's crazy about the Milano Red fading out like that. You bought it new, right? That just shouldn't happen.

How many coats did you spray? And no clear coat on top?

 

Yes; new. Got her with 4miles on her. I took care of the paint. I dont know why it really happen. I never parked under trees due to sap, she was in direct sunlight at all times.

No, no clear. I didnt want shine.

As for the Mini... I NEED ONE first. The one I found fell through. Found another, real nice but he claims its sold.
Im test driving one tomorrow. Its red though. Ehh.

I had a specific one I wanted, with certain packages. S only, leather, and had to have the roof.
I was set on Jaiden. I may use the name Diorra. 03 CooperS, Cold weather, Sport, and Premium packages, 2 tone leather, and Nav. Weee! I get her Wens.
