FINALLY! My new 08 composite wheel discs.

Waited for some time to do this mod as I had to wait for my own CNC machine to do the work. Lettering is regular graphics vinyl

The lettering is applied to the disc over the diameter of (tire rubber) Where it might be if the tires had lettering.
The disc is attached to the 08 sport rim using 5 points every 72 degrees of rotation.
The tire is the standard factory 195/55 on the sport 5 spoke split rim.The disc itself measures 21 inches in diameter.
That leaves only one inch of road clearance, which can be very testy down here in Florida with our endless supply of extra tall lane reflectors

Bonneville speed week?

I think that the discs are a little bit worse ( good english? ), because you will not get any brakecooling, so the brakes get overheated?

Thankfully there is airflow through the disc! so no overheating.

I imagine you would get more interest if you called them "curb rash eliminators" and market them to guys with 5K worth of wheels they don't want getting effed up on the way to shows. I see those getting the hell beat out of them on the scarred roads of WV though....

it seams as if the tire would get pinched between the disc and the road surface during cornering as im sure the disc doesn't move up or out when doing so. i like the concept but would have made them a bit smaller and if your going for fuel economy, just lower the car and you'll get more out of lowering than you ever will with the discs.
also what are they made out of?

I am totally lost as to what this item is for. Do they improve aerodynamics or something? I gotta agree with others and say that they are not my cup of tea. But then again, I don't race.
