Perrenoud's Pic Thread
So am I
I really like it but now that you said that, I went out tonight and checked it! Now I'm paranoid! haha....
The truth is what comes around goes around. Be good and you get good back, be bad and after a while you don't want to get up in the morning.
.Truth.

Looking good Mike! You're making me want to go wash+buff mine. Been slaving away on the Omni most of the summer but it's running now (with a new trans+posi). Time to detail the Fit.
Thanks sr.sedan and Chad T.
Nice Ol school Goes Like Hell Shelby look like new nice work.I know it's a hand full. I remember a lil Shelby Charger pasted me in my 68 Mustang fastback back in 1991 and I could not belive this little car could walk the dog on a V8. The hand writing was already on the wall!
Light weight and forced induction! will kick N.A. and heavy every time.LOL.

Here is mine after the trans install. I also installed some aftermarket springs from back then. They're called LRE's. Real Shelby chryslers all came with konis too.

These cars had 1 7/8 inch exhaust at the tailpipe and 2.25 at the turbo from the factory. Carrol was supposedly ordered not to exceed 175 ft lbs of tork.
Mine is 3 inch from the turbo out. Also have cockpit adjustible boost control I leave at 19 just to be careful.....

Here are some pix of her clean. Sorry to crap up your thread with dodge omni pictures but you've given me no choice.

Fairly stock looking under the hood still. I polished the lettering on the valve cover and had the rest powdercoated silver. Also found a chrome oil cap that was a dead ringer for the original. The 500 1986 Shelby GLHSes came with a standard chrysler 2.2 valve cover but with a mobile 1 plaque on it. Not the shelby valve cover that came later.

Those rims look like SSR Type-C Anthracites...
Then again, not my thread but Big Mike's
Got it Bad today!
"The Fever" only one thing to do, Pull the original carpet and replace it that should do the trick!
I have to hand it to Honda they have a clean approach to installing carpet. I've done a 68 Mustang and a 69 Charger
and basically the sill plate did the majority of the carpet hold down. But Hondee has strips,& buttons, it should be :fun!:
putting the new carpet in. It's just a chunk of molded chocolate brown cut pile carpet. Got the clips off the sill plate
but where does someone find a stapler that can go through carpet and the plastic strips?? Well, we will see right!
OOPS wrong thread
