Plasti Dipped wheels and fog surround

Been thinking of getting my wheels powdercoated for some time but didn't want to regret having black wheels if I didn't like it.. After some research I decided to plasti dip them.. I'll post pictures later but overall they came out pretty decent.. You can still see the silverish sheen through the rubber so it's kind of interesting.. But driving down the road it feels like the rubber may have messed with the balance on the wheels.

I decided to do the fog surround as well while I was at it

Close up of wheels?
You know you can put paint over the plastic dip?
Just becareful which brand of paint cause it can react to the plastic dip and mess it all up.

I'll try to get a close up in a little.. I've heard of people clearing it to give a semi gloss finish but I like the flat textured look.. I also painted the back panel where the H is with it.. I just like the fact that I can peel it off If I screw it up or decide I don't want it

Looks really good. What did it cost overall? Trying to figure out the cost compared to unloading on a set of wheels.

@Jason:
Total cost was $30.. 4 cans of paint 1 deck of cards and a six pack of coors..
And if you decide you don't like it then you can literally peel it off.. YouTube it.

@sh00k:
Tein S. Techs... The ride is Perfect for a dd IMO.. I just wish the rear sat a little lower than it does.

I just wanna get spacers and roll my fenders a little more so I can kinda flush it out a bit.
I've never been a fan of the sunken in look O_O

Looks good man. I got sportlines. I'm pretty low I just want the rear a lil lower. But I'm afraid it's gonna rub. How's the 16's any rubbing issues?

No rubbing at all.. They used to with the stock tires but since I put the 45s instead of 55s I havent had an issue. I personally don't really like 15s a whole lot, they just look too small So if I ever do get wheels I'm going to have to get 16s

Very nice. I also just did my fog surrounds last week. Mine used to be painted< but chipped alot from driving. Im very pleased with the dip as of now. Not a single chip in them. I did 3 coats thick on them. They claim chip resistent? We shall see.

Also will be dipping wifeys lancer wheels and painting them Mettalic Pink>>>>>>

Well.. On the way to town the other day a small Pterodactyl decided to drop bombs on my car so I decided to just run through the local car wash.. BAD IDEA.
Two of the wheels peeled up a little bit and made me all upset..
When I got home I pulled out the good ole plastidip and tried to touch up the spots to hold down where it had peeled and it worked out pretty well..

Today I had to fix a bumper malfunction and when I was down there I noticed the rubber was peeling a little so I decided to just peel off the plasti dip..
I realized it was much easier to pull out the pressure washer and go to town.. So now my wheels are silver again.
I'll probably redo them, maybe pit a couple more coats on
